Lightfoot Park Day Use

Lightfoot is a camping facility that offers access to the upper end of the Pomme de Terre Pomme Arm of the Lake. This area offers overnight camping, boat ramp and courtesy loading dock, a shower house, a picnic shelter and playground. Camping is allowed but is bought separately. Boaters will be able to purchase a day-use pass for $5.00 to launch boats from this ramp. Annual Day-Use and America the Beautiful passes will also be honored at this location and must be properly displayed. This day-use area is open to the public year-round but only charges fees to use the boat ramp from March 1st through November 30th. This day use fee will be valid for the day of purchase at other recreational areas at Pomme de Terre Lake. 

Parking at this location is available on a first -come, first-serve basis and not guaranteed. Once on-site, follow the posted instructions. It is recommended to download the free http://Recreation.gov mobile app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service: https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app 

Day Use passes are purchasable at Lightfoot boat ramp March 1st - November 30th.
