The Sol Duc / Seven Lakes Basin quota area (with Cat Basin, High Divide and Little Divide), whose reservable season is narrower than the park-wide summer season and set by snow conditions.
Olympic's own wilderness reservations page lists the Sol Duc / Seven Lakes Basin / Mink Lake area, including Cat Basin, High Divide and Little Divide, as a quota area and says it has a narrower season based on snow conditions; early-season dates not showing online have to be asked for through the Wilderness Information Center at (360) 565-3100. The page publishes no opening date for this season.
