Olympic's own wilderness reservations page says summer-season permit reservations are released on April 15 at 7:00 AM Pacific on Recreation.gov, and that quota-area permits such as Sol Duc / Seven Lakes Basin, Grand Valley, Royal Lake, the East Fork Quinault and Cape Alava / Sand Point are bulk released with no additional availability opening later. Camp availability updates in real time on Recreation.gov, no sites are held as same-day walk-ups, and the park asks permit holders to cancel unused reservations because that opens quota space for others.
