Outlet Channel Recreation Area is located below the dam at Enid Lake. Amenities include a fishing pier, three comfort stations, two fish cleaning stations, three group picnic shelters, and 27 individual picnic sites. This area is popular among fisherman, cyclists, walkers, and visitors wanting to enjoy a day at the lake picnicking, fishing, walking and cycling.

Other amenities includes three large picnic shelters, a playground, fishing pier and bank fishing. Nearby day use areas offers volleyball court, softball field, soccer field/football field, horseshoe pits, more picnic shelters, 1/2 mile fitness trail, fitness exercise area, a playground, bank fishing, boat ramps,life jacket loaner boards, beaches, amphitheaters and a view of the lake.
Natural Features
Pavilions, picnic sites, and other amenities are nestled among towering native pine and oak trees. The surrounding woods provide habitat for squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks, deer, butterflies, geese and variety of birds. This day use area is off Interstate 55 and easily assessable to visitors and fishermen. It a perfect location for a day at the lake for picnicking, exercising, playing sports, walking fishing in the channel or to spend the day relaxing.
