Explore the amazing wildlife off the northern and central California coast at the Greater Farallones and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary Visitor Center. Learn about threats to the wildlife, and what you can do to help protect them and the sanctuary. With views of the Golden Gate Bridge and direct access to the sandy beach, the visitor center is an incredible resource for all ages. The center offers a range of dynamic programs that encourage people to explore, enjoy, and protect these special waters.
This visitor center provides a range of accessibility features for everyone. There are tactile exhibits throughout the center such as shark skin, bone clone skulls, and whale rib bones. You can also enjoy listening to the sounds of humpback whales. One-on-one tours are available by request in advance.
