Timpooneke Trailhead is located along the Alpine Scenic Loop. The area provides outstanding recreation opportunities and majestic views. The Timpooneke Trailhead is the gateway to many opportunities including the Timpooneke Trail leading to the Mount Timpanogos Summit. Scout Falls, Emerald Lake Shelter, Aspen Grove trail loop can be accessed from the trailhead. The trails are open to hikers, horse riders and single-track users.

Getting there

Timpookeke Trailhead is located 10 miles up SR92 from mouth of American Fork Canyon or 11 miles from Highway 189 Provo Canyon. The trailhead is located just past the entrance of the Timpooneke Campground off of SR92.
