The Moss Knob Shooting Range on the National Forests in North Carolina provides hunters and sportsmen the opportunity to hone their skills with a 100-yard range with target frames set at 25 yards, 50 yards and 100 yards with four firing lanes/stations.
The outdoor firing stations are side by side and offer a covered shooting platform with shooting benches. There is a vault toilet, available parking, and picnic table available for use. This site is maintained with the help of visitors to pick up all targets, target debris, bullets, bullet casings, etc. and dispose of properly. Help us maintain a clean and safe shooting range.
