The Inyo National Forest's own Mt. Whitney page sets quota-season limits of 100 day-use and 60 overnight permits a day. The lottery runs February 1 - March 1 on Recreation.gov, results post March 15, winners must pay by 9 p.m. Pacific April 21 "or your win will be revoked", and remaining dates open at 7 a.m. Pacific April 22.
