March early-access lotteries for wilderness camping itineraries, then the May 1 general on-sale.
"Glacier National Park will implement two early access lotteries for wilderness camping". The large group lottery (9-12 campers) ran March 1, 2026 "for a chance to secure one (1) of five (5) large group ... advance reservations"; the standard group lottery (1-8 campers) ran March 15, 2026 for "one (1) of 3,000 standard group (1-8 campers) advance reservations", with winners booking from March 21. Afterwards "all wilderness campgrounds not reserved during the early access lottery period will become available to the general public" in the general on-sale beginning May 1.
