Nestled in a ponderosa pine forest next to the scenic Cache La Poudre River, Mountain Park Picnic Site is a very popular day-use area for enjoying a picnic and associated river activities. There are 11 sites available, each with picnic table and pedestal grill. There is access to the Mt. McConnel Trail from the picnic ground for a hiking opportunity.
The day pass is only good for the day purchased.
