Overview
This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature.
If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service.
Facilities
Kroeger Campground is located in beautiful La Plata Canyon, with 10 campsites shaded by a mixture of spruce, fir, aspen, and cottonwood. One site has a double table and large parking area. Another is suitable for a long RV; most sites do not accommodate larger RVs. There is one pull-thru. Please do not trespass on the private property adjacent to the campground.

Restrictions:
- Quiet time is typically between 10pm - 6am. Please be a good neighbor and limit use of generators to no more than one hour at a time.
- Dogs must be leashed or otherwise physically restrained. Do not leave pets unattended.
- Check-out time: 12:00 pm; Check-in time: 2:00 pm - if the site is empty, campers may come in anytime.
- Standard single site occupancy is 8, but a single family with > 8 members is acceptable.
- Equipment with wheels (RVs, campers, cars) must fit in the parking spur. There is not any overflow parking available.
