Lewis and Clark National Historical Park Ranger-Guided Tours

Hop in a watercraft and paddle along the lush riverbanks of the Lewis and Clark River. See bald eagles soar while you calmly float through history and hear a unique perspective of Lewis and Clark National Historical Park. The themes of these three-hour ranger-guided paddles will include various natural and cultural topics geared for all interests. Park-maintained kayaks, paddles, and life jackets come with your reservation. Lewis and Clark National Historical Park is modifying its kayak tour operations in accordance with the latest guidance from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state and local public health authorities. The Park reserves the right to cancel tours and/or limit the size and length of the tours. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

To Fort Clatsop Visitor Center from Astoria, Oregon (~15 minutes): Go south on Highway 101 over the Youngs Bay Bridge. After you have crossed the Youngs Bay Bridge, turn left at the third stop light onto Marlin Ave. Go 0.3 miles to Alternate (Business) 101 and turn left. Continue 0.7 miles then take another left at Alternate (Business) 101. Go 1.3 miles then turn right onto Fort Clatsop Road. The Fort Clatsop Visitor Center entrance will be on your left. To Fort Clatsop Visitor Center from Seaside, Oregon (~20 minutes): Go north on Highway 101 for approximately 10 miles. Turn right at a stop light onto SE Ensign Lane at the major intersection near retail area. Continue approximately 3 miles then turn right onto Fort Clatsop Road. The Fort Clatsop Visitor Center entrance will be on your left. To Netul Landing (and paddle tour meet-up spot) from Fort Clatsop Visitor Center (~5 minutes): Turn left onto Fort Clatsop Road and drive 1.5 miles. Turn left at the second brown gate, which will be open to the public. Use the parking lot to the right of the restrooms near the sheltered picnic benches.
