South of Joseph, Oregon, located along beautiful Hurricane Creek, Hurricane Creek campground provides 12 campsites, three of which are accessible for people with disabilities. The campsites include 4 tent or small trailer sites and 8 tent only sites.
The access road to this campground is rough and is not recommended for low clearance RVs or trailers.
Season of use is typically June through September.
Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

From Enterprise, Oregon on Main Street (Highway 82) turn right on Hurricane Creek Road/ South River Street and go about 7.5 miles to campground; Entrance is signed on the left side of road just after the Forest boundary.
From Joseph, Oregon turn west on Wallowa Avenue towards the airport. Turn left on Hurricane Creek Road at the Hurricane Creek Grange. Entrance is signed on the left side of road just after the Forest boundary.
Overnight Use: Single Site: $10/night. Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY. The discount applies only to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass holder, not to any additional fee or campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass holder's party. https://store.usgs.gov/recreational-passes Please be prepared to pay with CASH or CHECK. Single unit campsites = $10.00/night; fee station available at the campground. A self service pay station is located at the site.
